In November 2015, a group of forward-thinking leaders in the south Placer region recognized the need for a local comprehensive, faith-based high school and began pursuing a solution. Placer Christian School Association was then incorporated in October 2016 with the express mission to build the facilities and to launch Legacy Christian High School in south Placer County.
